RATE

RATE adjusts the speed of the LFO modulation. Choose between triangle, square or random waveforms; the chosen waveform LED will blink to show the rate.

By default, the LFO modulates sampling rate (FREQ) but can be assigned to modulate other parameters using the web editor. The LFO can also be synced to tap tempo or MIDI clock. It syncs to quarter notes by default, but a variety of note divisions can be set using the web editor or MIDI, including triplets and dotted notes.

The LFO rate can also be set to audio frequencies. It is often useful to lower the modulation DEPTH when using higher modulation rates.
