MODULATION

RATE and DEPTH apply modulation to the carrier frequency (FREQ). Select a modulation type by pressing the WAVE button, and adjust both RATE and DEPTH above minimum to observe the effect. The mini LEDs in this section will illuminate to show the selected modulation type.

  • triangleTRIANGLE: smooth transition between two values
  • squareSQUARE: abrupt transition between two values
  • musical-randomMUSICAL RANDOM: random sample and hold
  • randomRANDOM: alternate random modulation
  • step-modulatorSTEP MODULATOR: programmable 8-step modulation sequence
  • sweepdownSWEEP DOWN: multi-octave sweep or endless glissando, down
  • sweepupSWEEP UP: multi-octave sweep or endless glissando, up
  • envelopeENVELOPE FOLLOWER: follows the envelope (RATE controls release time)
