LOOP DIRECTION

The DIR switch determines playback direction for an active loop and has no effect during live use. Because the SPEED knob also affects loop direction both live and during active looping, the two controls interact--if both controls are set to reverse playback, they cancel each other out and the loop will play forward.

    FORWARD The loop will play normally in a forward direction.
  • high
    ALERTNATING Playback direction alternates between forward and reverse with each repetition of the loop.
  • low
    REVERSE The loop is played backwards.
