HOLD
Use the footswitch to record a loop. Maximum length is 9.4 seconds in mono, and 4.8 seconds in stereo. The left LED will be red during recording and green during playback, with a red flash indicating the start of the loop. Use the toggle switch to choose one of three recording modes:
-
OVERDUB
Recording the first loop sets the loop length. After recording the initial loop, pressing the HOLD footswitch again will layer live audio onto whatever is currently looping (sound on sound), based on the control settings.
-
RECORD
Each time a new loop is recorded, it replaces the previous loop.
-
NEXT
In this ‘live looping’ mode, the footswitch sets the length of two buffers. Tensor then records into one buffer in real time, while simultaneously playing back the last buffer according to knob settings. If you stop playing, the loop will fall silent, but the pedal will continuously listen for new input until you exit the recording.* Maximum loop length is reduced to 4.8 seconds (2.4 seconds in mono).
*In any mode, press the ON switch to exit the recording and return to live playback.
